Meet the Team

Adam Hummel

Education Officer

Hi, my name is Adam Hummel and I'm your token Canadian UJS Education Officer. I was extremely involved in Jewish campus life in Toronto and am really excited to be involved in the community in London. I have a few different ideas that I am hoping to implement this year, and with your help we can make them a big success. My role is to act as a resource for various Jewish societies and help develop education programs and material in order to make involvement in Jewish campus life interesting , exciting and diverse. I therefore need you to contact me if you have any ideas that you would like to see implemented throughout the year. Aside from that, I am working on developing an educational trip to Poland for June, various holiday programming for Tu B'shevat, Pesach, and Purim, and anything else that comes up. A big project of mine this year as well is to facilitate a Heroes Campaign, which works to develop the potential of student leaders to create Jewish Heroes who can thrive and become future leaders of the Jewish community.
I am really looking forward to working with everyone, and I encourage you to please get in touch with any ideas you may have in order to make your university experience more Jewish and meaningful.
