UJS- Hope Not Hate Campaigns Day in Barking and Dagenham

Stand up for Modern Britian.

Say no to BNP hate.

Get involved.

One of the key battlegrounds this election is the BNP attempt to win in the council and Westminster election in Barking and Dagenham. The BNP is now the official opposition on the council with 10 seats.

On May 6th they are putting up candidates in every ward to try to take overall control of the council and with it a £200 million a year budget.

Nick Griffin, BNP leader, is standing in this constituency to defeat incumbent Margaret Hodge to become their next MP.

Come join the UJS team who are attending a Hope Not Hate Campaign Day in Barking and Dagenham on May 3rd starting at 10.30am. Hope Not Hate is a terrific 'smart-campaigning' organization dedicated to mobilizing people across the UK to combat the BNP's policies of hate.

Barking and Dagenham is a vulnerable seat, given the state of the British political system, which could very well turn BNP. On May 3rd Hope Not Hate are organizing a really exciting campaigning day with Eddie Izzard.

Over 100 people should be attending and the day will be split up between campaigning in the morning and a celebration of modern Britain in the afternoon.

I'm inviting you to join us. Let me know if you would like to join the UJS team on May 3rd.

Hopefully the sun will be out and we can have a really great day rolling up our sleeves and get down to the work stopping the BNP.
