Approx Jewish Students on campus - 20+

Dublin- ‘Small but mighty!’ Although we are not huge in numbers, we are still involved, for example our lovely Friday Night dinners, which has a mix of both Jews and Non Jews. Trinity College Dublin has a small J-Soc with links to both the progressive and orthodox communities in Dublin. We have great relationships with the university chaplaincy. Although we are called Trinity College Dublin J-Soc, it is open to any student studying in Dublin.

Dublin is a beautiful city with interesting history and an exciting nightlife. There is a good Jewish community to support the students who study at the many universities in the city.

Kosher Food & Accommodation

There are both Progressive and Orthodox communities with synagogues and access to kosher food. There are links with the community because Dublin Jews often stay in the city for university. The Chabad Rabbi in Dublin has a welcoming Shabbat table for Jewish students looking for a little taste of a home away from home.  You can find out more at www.chabad.ie

There is also a Moishe House in Dublin! For more information please be in touch with the Jsoc, or the UJS team.

Campus Notes

Temple bar area, just south of the Liffey is where you will find most partygoers. O’Connell Street is also lively and home to a variety of bars and clubs. For a more relaxed evening, Grafton Street has quieter pubs and clubs.

The UJS Sabbatical Officer for this campus is Guy
