We are proud to announce a weekend of ceilidhs and kilts, on the 17th/18th of February (a month later than the official Bards birthday - but you can never rush the entrance of a haggis, or our mind-blowing teaser campaign ...).
The entire weekend ticket is £30 which includes: friday night dinner (and whiskey), shabbat lunch (and whiskey), three-course meal (with whiskey), a Ceilidh (perhaps no whiskey here) and club entrance. Needless to say a superbly scottish shabbat!
Our wonderful J soc members are hoping to be able to host everyone who is coming up, and can also recommend some snazzy hostels if you are so inclined.
- We fully understand how difficult travel up here can be - and we all seem to be well seasoned travellers of the EastCoast line.
Most students live within a 15-30 minute walk of the central bus and train station, and the airport is a 30 minute bus ride out of the city. We would urge you to get in touch with UJS about transport, as they have spoken about helping to help with transport costs for JSocs further afield, who want to send a group up.
In short - we'd love to see a load of you up here, even if it is just for the whiskey!
