As an NDO based in the Midlands, you will offer unique expertise, tools, and resources to small and medium sized J-Socs. You will be responsible for nurturing and strengthening these J-Socs, whilst establishing new J-Socs throughout the country. You will travel regularly to J-Socs to facilitate a variety of programmes, including Shabbatot and training.
In addition, each NDO is responsible for facilitating training sessions for large J-Soc committees as part of the J-Soc Development Programme. However, outside of these training sessions you will not have any responsibility for large J-Socs.
It is important to note that the NDO team has a strong educational focus, delivering key educational content in national UJS programmes and activities. Applicants should feel comfortable delivering Jewish education with a desire to develop their Jewish knowledge and that of others.
