For the second annual Student Awards, the Union of Jewish Students wanted to recognise the efforts of Jewish students on campuses across the United Kingdom.
These students devote countless hours of their time on top of university work, extra curriculars and spending time with their friends to ensure that Jewish student life on campus is thriving, vibrant, safe, and fun.
This year, we had over 50 nominations for 6 awards. These awards ranged from education to campaigns to events and covered all aspects of Jewish student life on campus. There was even an award for small and medium sized J-Socs who had seen considerable growth and development over the past year.
