Every penny raised will go to UJS-Hillel's hardship fund. Although conducted without any fanfare or publicity, UJS-Hillel administers the hardship fund every year providing vital resources for Jewish students who would otherwise be unable to go to university. Because of increased demand due to the financial crisis, UJS-Hillel is doubling the size of the fund next year.
In addition, over the past two years, the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) has doubled the amount of funding given to J-Soc to spend on Friday night meals, film nights, bagel brunches, Israeli cookery classes, Judaism awareness weeks and much more. These activities aim to inspire Jewish students to make an enduring commitment to their Jewish identity, Israel and the community.
They have raised over £700 so far including gift aid but would like to push that total past £1,000. To sponsor them, click here
Adam paid tribute to Body Studio in Northwood who made a significant donation to the cause and helped train him - no mean fit considering his physical shape in April.
