You'll never again say the countryside's boring.
Limmudfest is back - this time deep in the hollow, ringed by the hills of West Sussex.
26th-30th August
Windlesham House School, West Sussex
Missing those campus club nights? Party the night away with Sephardi rock band Deleon and dance to Ghettoplotz house-Klezmer tunes. Sample the beats of New York rapper Kosher Dillz and let your hair down at Limmudfest's renowned Silent Disco.
If that's too much excitement, why not check out the Middle Eastern rythms of Israeli band The Shuk or relax to the Torah-inspired indie-folk music of Girls in Trouble. Or chill out completely by meditating with Israeli expert Ruth Gan Kagan.
Also, if you're a student who will be self-catering for the first time on campus, why not learn essential culinary skills with leading Israeli chef Gil Hovav and celebrated cookbook writer Denise Phillips ? And if food ethics are your thing, come and listen to Steve Greenberg, rabbi, writer and visionary. As for your brain, Jeremy Gordon, Clive Lawton and Natan Levy, Helena Miller and Raphael Zarum will provide you with plenty of food for thought.
If you're 18-30 and/or in full-time education you can join our Young Adult Development (YAD) scheme, and enjoy all five days of Fest for just £99. All you need to do is lend a hand for three hours a day. YADs work in small, friendly teams helping out with childcare, babysitting and catering. You'll really feel you are part of the event team. Sign up before 25 July to be guaranteed a YAD place.
Every Jewish student has something to gain at Limmudfest - and something unique to offer. So ...What will you bring?
