In 2011 the Lake Bánk festival (www.tekerajotra.hu/en ) is organized by MAROM Budapest for the third time in Hungary with the participation of NGOs active on the field of Jewish and Roma issues, presenting good initiatives in community building, as well as, providing cultural programs related to minority experience. This year, through the Volunticipate network we will add a European perspective to the event - and we invite you to be part of it!
Within the frame of the Volunticipate project 30 youth workers, volunteers from London, Stockholm, Valencia, Barcelona, Ljubljana, Paris, Praha, Bucharest, Bratislava, Budapest and Berlin will meet, work and learn together for one week in a stimulating environment, with the help of professional trainers.

We expect:
-participants with 1-3 years of experience in civil organizations as volunteers or professionals (UK Jewish students qualify for this if they have been involved with Jewish or other organisations).
-good command of English
-openness and willingness to participate in the Volunticipate network
-active participation on the programs during the one week meeting
-online availability during July 2011 for fine tuning
