The event took place in the heart of Bloomsbury at Syracuse University (SU) on its London Campus. The flagship institution can be found in the state of New York, but many of its Jewish students choose to study in London for a year.
In London, Jewish students have the luxury of having their individual J-Soc on their campus, but also the umbrella for all of them: London J-Socs. This ensures that large scale events can take place as well as being a J-Soc for those students who are at campuses without their own individual J-Soc.
This term, the calendar is absolutely jam-packed with events, from big Friday night dinners (one sponsored by Deloitte), a BBQ, Bar Crawl and Weekend Away. But, it doesn't stop there, next term, the London J-Soc ball will be making a come back, bigger and better than ever before.
As Syracuse has shown, this promises to be a great year for London J-Soc.
London Officer, Emily Black said, 'the day was a huge success with over thirty students signing up to London J-Soc, it is set to be a fantastic year!'
