 Event: Occupy Tel Aviv?

Speaker: Daphni Leef

Daphni is a 25 year old film maker from Tel Aviv in Israel and leader of the J-14 social justice movement in Israel. On the 14th July 2011, unable to pay her rent, she pitched a tent on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv.

Her act of protest sparked off one of the largest waves of mass protest in Israel's history. Within weeks, over 500,000 marched on the street of Israel to demand social justice.

 In this event, Daphni will tell her story about the J-14 social justice movement followed by a Q and A.

 Event: Israeli Voices Panel Discussion

 Go behind the slogans, hear direct from Arab and Jewish Israelis who are visiting the UK.

 This is a unique opportunity to hear from Arab and Jewish Israelis about their lives and the challenges of identity, conflict and inequality.

The panel discussion will then be followed by a Q and A.
