Daphni is a 25 year old film maker from Tel Aviv in Israel and leader of the J-14 social justice movement in Israel. On the 14th July 2011, unable to pay her rent, she pitched a tent on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv.
Her act of protest sparked off one of the largest waves of mass protest in Israel's history. Within weeks, over 500,000 marched on the street of Israel to demand social justice.
In this event, Daphni will tell her story about the J-14 social justice movement followed by a Q and A.
