The UJS team have been exceptional: hard working, passionate, dynamic and people I can now call good friends.
The Jewish community values UJS and the student community and we appreciate the advice and support they all continue to give.
But ultimately, you, the students are what make UJS work and made my job so enjoyable. You are phenomenal. I have loved my time on different campuses across the UK and am so thankful for the kind and hospitable way J-Socs always treat me and the UJS team. The work you do is critical and you all do such a good job.
As first jobs go, I don't think I could have found a better one. While many of my friends are crunching numbers, reading reports and writing briefs into the early hours of the morning I have been lucky enough to have taken part in giant games of Twister, watched Leeds & Birmingham attempt to play a professional game of rugby, been to one Booze for Jews' too many as well as Friday night dinners all over the UK.
This has been an amazing year and I am grateful to everyone who played a role however big or small.
I want to wish my successor Alex Green the best of luck; I know he and his team will do a great job.
So, for the final time, Shabbat Shalom X
