The conference was attended by a range of sabbatical and student union staff and those from various higher education institutions.
The day addressed the key issues that face Jewish students on campus today.
Topics ranged from discussions about kosher food to combatting hate speech and anti-Semitism and the impact of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on British campuses.
Judith Flacks, UJS' campaigns Director said, 'I felt it was useful to explain why these issues are so difficult for Jewish students and how important it is that we work together to ensure that campus is a safe space.
In the session about hate speech on campus, 'We spoke about some of the comments that hate speakers on campus had made and then discussed why they were problematic for Jewish students.'
