Colman's blog... exciting UJS events not to be missed

For those that don’t know me, my name is Josh Colman. I am one of the National Development Officers and am based in the London region after having worked in the Central region last year.

It has been a busy start to the year, but now all the festivals have been and you are settled down at University, some exciting events are fast approaching in the coming weeks ahead.

I am sure you have seen and heard about Juefa Cup 2010, which is taking place this Sunday (14th November) in Nottingham on the same day as their Booze for Jews. For those that haven’t signed up, get your team signed up as soon as possible on the Juefa Cup event listing. If you have yet to buy your Booze for Jews ticket, make sure you get them before the price goes up on the Nottingham Booze for Jews event listing.

Juefa Cup has already had teams entered from London, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Leeds, Warwick and Birmingham for a chance to win a FREE trip to see Real Madrid play for the boys and a FREE day trip to Paris for the girls. For those that aren’t playing, come along, support your friends and your J-Soc, enjoy the food and have a good afternoon before you head off to Nottingham Booze for Jews.

Idan Raichel is also performing in Birmingham, Nottingham and Leeds at the end of November. Contact your J-Soc to find out more details and to find out how to buy your tickets for a minimal cost of £5 to see one of Israel’s top musical artists.

The London J-Soc elections are taking place next week. If anyone is interested in standing for elections, please be in touch with me at josh@ujs.org.uk to find out more details.

Looking forward to seeing many of you at Juefa this Sunday!

Josh x
