Hello all, since the last time I wrote, Spurs have lost twice, Rosh Hashanah has been, and I have begun my travels using the wonderfully reliable Virgin trains.

On Monday I got on an early train up to Birmingham for my graduation. Picked up my robes, got my pictures taken, successfully walked across the stage without slipping up, and did my family proud. After that I started to unpack my room which was full of boxes.

Tuesday I was off to Oxford, and with the train delayed and stopping because of sewage problem I arrived at Oxford only to be given the wrong directions to the University from the bus driver. I finally arrived and found the J soc stall with some happy faces, thinking I was a fresher about to sign up. Sadly this wasn't the case. Was a good day at the stall, only problem being, no one seemed to play football and therefore weren't too keen on the Juefa cup on the 25th of October in Birmingham. Came back to Birmingham to meet the new fresher's at Rabbi Fishels house, was great to see so many new faces.

Wednesday involved a 6 o'clock wake up to get the train over to Cardiff. With lots of Falafel, and a great stall we attracted a large number of people interested in signing up. Found the accent hard to understand at first, but with a bit of patience I got there in the end.

Returned to Birmingham late Wednesday night to the news that Spurs won tonight. I know it's not a great achievement playing Preston but a win still makes my next day slightly better.

Tomorrow is off to Birmingham fresher's fair, followed by a relaxed Shabbat ahead and a J-Soc Friday night meal.

That's all from me, hope you have all settled back in Uni, Shana tova and may you all have a successful term ahead.

Josh
