Though traditionally known for its Catholic history, Barcelona is home to a small, but active Jewish community. Recently, a Jewish Student Union (UEJB) and a Moishe House were established to create new opportunities for students to engage in Jewish life. SEVILLA

The Jewish community of Sevilla is very small and composed of two communities: progressive (reform) and orthodox. Despite its size, the community happily welcomes international students each year and even encourages students to take leadership positions! Madrid is the largest Jewish community in Spain, made up of several warm, welcoming communities. Despite several barriers to entry, students connecting through KAHAL have access to a reform, Conservative, and Orthodox community—all of whom provide programs for young adults.
