This year we are doing things slightly differently. We are not having a road show this year, instead-Alex Green- and the current UJS President-Dan Grabiner-will be visiting four different Friday nights over the next month.
Key dates:
11th November: Nottingham
18th November: London Region Weekend in Brighton (with Brighton & Sussex J-Soc) To book: Click here
25th November: Glasgow
2nd December: Leeds which is also Summit for the newly elected J-Soc Committee
This year, for the first time ever voting is online!
You can only vote if your e-mail address is already registered as a member of UJS. If you do not think you are a member of UJS J-Socs and would like to vote, you can join now by: Clicking here
One of the hustings will be filmed and streamed live so all students can either watch it live or watch it at a later time.
If you want to enter questions for the candidate to answer then email to office@ujs.org.uk
It's a real shame that we cannot come to more campuses this year, but by going online we are trying to make the election as accessible as possible. The new website for the campaign will be up and running shortly, so watch this space for the link!
This year's candidate for President:
Alex Green or RON

This is only the beginning for having your say in what UJS does. On 4 December 2011 UJS is bringing back 'Conference', we will let you know more about this shortly, but it is your chance to put forward motions that can then be voted on- you decide- so get involved.
More to follow on this shortly...so watch this space!
