UJS are back at Limmud Festival for 2017!

Limmud Festival is legendary for creating an incredible five-day Jewish experience that can be whatever you want it to be. From the music and food to learning and lively debate, Limmud is an awesome place to be this winter – and we want you to come with us.

This year for Limmud Festival (Sunday 24 – Thursday 28 December), UJS is providing £100 subsidies for students to attend as UJS ambassadors.

As a UJS ambassador, you’ll be responsible for advertising UJS sessions and panels where staff members are featured, as well as recruiting students for meet-ups and student sessions. We’re aiming to foster a student community and create a bigger UJS presence at Limmud this year – and you’ll be a key part of it.

You’ll be asked to be representatives for UJS, embodying and engaging in our core values of Peer Leadership, Cross communalism, Representation and Israel Engagement. As a union this year, we’re focussing on being ‘loud and proud’ as Jewish students, so we’re looking for students who can be positive, passionate ambassadors for UJS.

Applications are being taken on a rolling basis so sign up ASAP to ensure you don't miss out!

NOTE: You are still eligible to apply for the UJS Student Ambassador £100 subsidy if you have already bought a Limmud Festival ticket.

Apply here, or if you have questions or would like more information, please contact Grace at graced@ujs.org.uk.

Or if Limmud isn't right for you this winter, why not take a look at Manhigut instead?

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
