Nick - Digital Communications Manager

Having worked within Communications for the last decade, the opportunity to join a Students' Union I respect and admire greatly was one I was excited to take in January 2017. Having been involved with other Jewish organisations in the past, I was keen to bring my experience within the university and education sectors to the UJS team. I'm passionate about the cause and am determined to help modernise and develop UJS's digital communication strategy.

Since joining the team at the start of 2017, my focus has predominantly been on creating this new website you see before you! Aside from this, I have been working with Dana, the Sabbatical Officer focusing on communications, on a number of other projects including creating brand and messaging guidelines as well as developing and improving on our fundraising strategy.

When I'm not working on websites or developing social media strategies, I can be found socialising with friends and family while also being uncle to my nieces. A lover of most cuisines, I'm working my way round as many sushi restaurants as I can within London - recommendations welcome!

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
