Sami Berkoff is the UJS President 24/25, starting after finishing her degree in geography at Durham University. At Durham, she was heavily involved in Jewish society and was on the committee for the past two years. She was the society's president this past year, always ensuring Jewish student voices are heard. In her free time, Sami loves to go to the gym and is involved in student theatre, most recently stage managing a student production in a professional theatre.

Her plans for UJS next year are to bring Jewish students together after a challenging year, make sure they all stand strong against antisemitism and enjoy and celebrate all that Jewish life has to offer. Focussing on commUNITY, working with JSocs and Supporting Jewish students. She cannot wait for the next year with her team, where they will ensure Jewish students have a safe, successful and fulfilling Jewish life on campus that guarantees the future of our community.
