UJS Conference

One of our main events of the year is UJS Conference, where you can have your say and shape this Union! Additonally, this is the time when we announce our newly elected president! Find all important dates here!

Most importantly, you can sign up for UJS conference here. The deadline to sign up for conference is Thursday, 6th December 10am.

Presidential Elections: This is a very exciting time and your opportunity to run to be the next elected leader of our Union. If you have any questions, feel free to email our returning officer Russell Langer.

Policy submissions: Motion submissions have now closed and amendment submissions are open here, these will close on Monday 3rd December. For any questions, please email Daniel.

All of the motions for this years conference can be found here.

Following a motion submitted last year, passed by UJS National Council and pending ratification at this year’s conference, UJS is piloting a way for our members that are unable to attend Conference due to reasons specified in the motion to register for online viewing and voting.

If you would like to register for online viewing and voting, please fill in this form and state clearly the reason why you will not be able to attend. Please note that only those who have genuine limits on their attendance, such as exams or health reasons, will be considered for an online vote.

Please apply to be considered for online viewing and voting by 12pm on Friday 7th December.

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
