Louise Cohen - Finance and Logistics Coordinator

I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2016 with a degree in Geography (BSc).

UJS was a huge part of shaping my university experience. In my first year I was a Shabbat Officer on the J-Soc committee; from there I went on to become a member of UJS National Council on the Advisory Board and in turn the Student Trustee for the year. Not content with my level of UJS keenness, I became a J-Soc Officer for 2016-2017. It was one of the most incredible years and I just couldn’t bear to leave UJS… so I didn’t.

I’m now the Finance and Logistics Coordinator, doing a lot of behind-the-scenes things like looking after J-Soc money and helping with the logistics of national events.

When I’m not at work, I’m fanatical over my dogs and dog showing as well as makeup artistry (it’s a bit of an obsession).

I'm so excited to continue my love of UJS in this role. If you have any queries about finance or logistics, then don’t hesitate to drop me an email.

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
