Herts JSOC is a small but mighty, active J-Soc! We try and make a home for all students at Herts who identify as Jewish no matter your denomination, religious level or beliefs, Jewish knowledge, race, gender or sexuality.

We've run events including lunch and learns, meet and greets, pub meets, Havdalah events, LGBTQ+ socials, events for people who identify as female and gender non-conforming, religious education events, Shabbat meals and more.

For students who might observe less strict dietary rules, there is a fully vegan cafe on College Lane Campus- the Gallery Cafe. There are also vegetarian and vegan options in shops and restaurants on both campuses (however none of this food is certified as Kosher).
