Arieh Miller

Arieh has been Chief Executive of the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) since February 2019.

Prior to this, Arieh has worked at the Zionist Federation, the Embassy of Israel in London, the Community Security Trust (CST), various synagogues and youth clubs and organisations and even a brief period as a young intern in the world famous SARM recording studios.

During Arieh's gap year in Israel Arieh studied at the "Machon L'Madrichey Chutz L'Aretz" (Institute for leaders from abroad), volunteered on Kibbutz Yahel in the "Refet" (dairy), and volunteered for Israel's national ambulance service Magen David Adom.

After returning, Arieh went to Leeds University, graduating in 2010 with a BA in Managing Performance.

Arieh spends much of his time volunteering both inside and outside the Jewish community, including as a First Responder with the London Ambulance Service and St Johns Ambulance, as a trustee of his synagogue and in various communal roles and organisations.

In his spare time Arieh spends most of it with his wife and young sons, playing football and basketball, or watching his beloved Arsenal with gritted teeth and clenched fists.
