Larry became a trustee of UJS in September 2023 and helps to assist the Board in matters relating to strategy, leadership and organisational development.

Larry is a strategic leadership consultant, facilitator and executive coach with over 30 years experience in senior roles in major blue-chip companies - Tesco and Coca-Cola - and consultancy and coaching assignments with major organisations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors

His early career saw him become Glasgow’s first professional Jewish youth worker,  Strathclyde University JSoc President and then a UJS sabbatical from 1987-89. He previously served on the UJS-Hillel Board in the early 2000s and has been a member of a number of Jewish community organisation committees and boards. He is currently the Co-Director of the JLC-Lead Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme.

Larry is accredited as a Senior Coaching Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). He has an MBA with Distinction from Ashridge, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and an alumnus of the Windsor Leadership Programme. 

Larry is married to Sarah Miller (an ex-UJS Fieldworker) with 2 boys at university – one at University Academy 92 in Manchester  and the other at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
