Approx Jewish Students on campus - 10+

We are small and very friendly, where we hold Friday Night Dinners as our main event.  We also welcome both Southampton University and Southampton Solent University students, in the past we have had many Israeli and international students that we happily welcome. Southampton is a city on the south coast of England with a thriving student life in the Portswood area, there are many bars and restaurants that are always full with students. While there may not be a large Jewish community this is defiantly a great place to study.

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
