UJS Meets with Universities Minister

UJS President Hannah Rose and Campaigns Organiser Daniel Kosky met with Universities Minister Chris Skidmore along with the Jewish Leadership Council, CST and the Antisemitism Policy Trust. Topics discussed included recent incidents on campus, challenges facing Jewish students and the ways in which the government can support Jewish students.

Campaigns Organiser Daniel Kosky said “We were pleased to meet with Universities Minister Chris Skidmore to discuss the issues facing Jewish students on campus and the actions the government can take to improve the lives of Jewish students. We are grateful  that the Minister has committed to tackling antisemitism and ensuring that every Jewish student is able to fully participate in university life without barriers or intimidation. We look forward to working with the Minister in the future”
