UJS Presidential Elections 2020

With the new academic year starting, the UJS Presidential Elections are already approaching!

Here is this year’s Returning Officer with a message for you, along with key dates:

Hey everyone, I'm Izzy Lenga and I am the Returning Officer for this year's UJS Presidential Election. I was previously a Vice President of NUS and held several elected roles within UJS and my JSoc too. I cannot wait to work with you all to help keep UJS a thriving, democratic organisation. If you have any questions then do not hesitate to get in touch!

The timeline for the 2020 election:

Monday 2nd November: Nominations open

Monday 16th November: Nominations close

Monday 18th November: Candidates announcement

Monday 23rd November: Campaigning and voting opens

Friday 4th December: Campaigning and voting closes

Sunday 6th December: Result announced

Details on submitting a nomination will be published nearer the time. In the meantime, email me on democracy@ujs.org.uk if you have any questions. The election will be held in accordance with the UJS constitution and bye-laws, which can be read here.
