UJSix is the part of UJS eclusively for sixth formers. Whether you are in year 12 or year 13, UJSix has so much to offer you! Our programs range from Friday night dinners to university information evenings, pizza parties to cooking lessons! Keep an eye on our instagram page to find out more about what we are up to.
Choosing a course, campus and Jsoc (Jewish Society) can be daunting! Take a look at UJS' top tips for making the right choice for you.
UJS supports over 70 Jewish societies at universities across the UK and Ireland. Jsocs provide Friday night dinners, social events and everything in between! Your Jsoc will be there for you for anything you need during your time at uni. Being a part of your Jsoc committee is a great way to intrgrate into Jewish life on campus! There may be university lectures or events scheduled on Shabbat or Jewish holidays. It is your choice to attend, or go to Jewish events at university instead! Don't worry if this situation comes up for you, the UJS team advise and support students about this regularly.
Coping with the huge change of starting university can feel overwhelming. It is normal to feel lonely or homesick. UJS offers advice and support through chats with our sabbatial team, and signposting to other support options available to you.
Even though the chance of encountering antisemitism on campus is small, there are a number of incidents each year. UJS and CST are here to support you every step of the way. Please be in touch with us if you have any concerns about this.
