International Women's Day

International Women's Day is celebrated globally on March 8th every year. IWD is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.

Are you interested in running events on your campus for IWD? There are some great resources here. Reach out to any member of our team and we can help you get the ball rolling!

Here are some reflections by the men and women of the UJS team about being a woman in the workplace, and how to be allies to our colleagues.
