Whether you’re pirouetting in a rehearsal studio, stitching sequins for a costume, managing the chaos backstage, or composing the perfect lighting cue, if you’re Jewish and studying a creative degree or at drama school – you’ve found your people.
We’re a UK-wide family of Jewish creatives from institutions like Italia Conti, Rose Bruford, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, ArtsEd, UAL, and more. Our members’ degrees span everything from costume design to stage management to musical theatre – so if you’re part of the creative world, you belong here.
Founded in 2025, we saw a gap – too few Jewish students in creative spaces meant Jsocs couldn’t form in individual universities. So we built one big, inclusive Jsoc for all arts institutions. Our mission? To give Jewish creative students the community, support, and laughter they’ve been missing.
From Purim parties to “Pizza in the Hut” for Sukkot, to laid-back picnics and movie nights, we’ve got a year full of events to connect, celebrate, and have fun. Plus, this year we’re rolling out exciting workshops with industry pros – West End directors, producers, actors, costume designers, and even film scriptwriters – because networking should come with a side of nosh.
