Our Trustees

Carolyn Bogush

Carolyn has been a trustee of UJS for five years, and was recently appointed the Vice-Chair, with specific responsibility for managing our welfare grants, providing operational support to the office team and mentoring support for the Sabbatical team.

Carolyn is a Chartered Organisational Psychology, and works in the fields of management and leadership development, coaching and team facilitation.  She works across all industry sectors including finance, health and education.  She is currently the Co-Chair of trustees for Limmud, and in the past has volunteered in a number of Jewish communal roles.

Carolyn has always had an interest in supporting students and young people in strengthening their Jewish involvement, including serving on her JSoc whilst studying at Manchester.  Her interest has only grown since her eldest son went to University, and she has been able to observe first hand the value and importance of JSocs on campus.

Carolyn lives in London with her husband (a past UJS Sabbatical Officer) and three kids - one of which is now treasurer for his JSoc!
