Will you come?

It's getting cold in the UK, and what better way to beat the impending winter blues than warming up with a home cooked meal to bring in Shabbat?

Once again we are able to provide dinner free of cost, thanks to the Bristol Jewish Chaplains- Alexander and Ahuva- who will be joining us for dinner. Whether you're coming back to see friends from the first dinner or new to the society, we're looking forward to seeing you!

Kosher meat will be served, as well as plenty of vegetarian options. Let us know about any further allergies or dietary requires.

Everyone is welcome! We include students of all denominations and faiths in our events. We typically light the Shabbat candles and make Kiddish before dinner, but there is no pressure to join in on the (short!) prayers and don't worry if you don't know them. If you would like to learn more message us.

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
