Wow. What a year. Words serve as an inadequate vessel to accurately capture how fantastic it has been working with you this past year. I’ve been moved by the dedication every one of you has shown to your fellow students. 

Whether you are at the forefront of activism or committed to ensuring your J-Soc has a weekly Shabbat dinner, you have all changed your campuses for the better. I am filled with great pride knowing that I could be a small part of your collective journeys.

It has been a phenomenal year for us all.

We have been at the forefront of social justice, of dramatic change and progress. We have done so much for which we can call feel so fulfilled and accomplished.

For me, today marks a turning point in my journey. I have joined you in your struggles but also your celebrations and now I must leave. But it is not a sad time, for you will continue to flourish once I’ve gone. Your work and achievements will have a lasting.

My time at UJS has made a lasting impact on my life, and I owe it to everyone I’ve met along the way. I know the new team will make even greater progress and you will welcome them with open arms, just as you did for me.

As my time comes to a close, I am filled with many life-changing memories and experiences.
