Izzy Lenga is NUS Vice President (Welfare) elect!

We are delighted that Izzy Lenga has been elected as NUS Vice President (Welfare). In addition to being a recent recipient of our Alan Senitt Award for Outstanding Contribution to Jewish Student Life, Izzy has

previously shown exceptional commitment as Education Officer at the University of Birmingham and in her wider campaigning work for Jewish students and students from a range of backgrounds and cultures, and we look forward to seeing her continue this in her new role.

We hope that Izzy’s success will empower other Jewish students to run for leadership roles, both in their student unions and nationally. We are excited to see what Izzy will achieve in her new role as NUS Vice President (Welfare), and wish her every success in the coming year.

About UJS

We are the voice of over 8,500 Jewish students, spanning 60 Jewish Societies (J-Socs) on campuses across the UK and Ireland. We are traditional, progressive, cultural and spiritual; we come from the left, centre and right and can be found across religious and political spectrums.

Together we create and deliver powerful campaigns; fighting prejudice, advancing inclusion, and inspiring education and action on the issues that matter to us.
