Jodie Franks became a UJS National Council Member in 2020 and helps to hold the President to account as well as being a UJS Trustee. She is a final year student, studying Classical Civilisation at the University of Leeds, and was previously the ‘University Chair’ on her J-Soc committee. Jodie is passionate about UJS’ core values and helping the Union by representing the student voice to the Board of Trustees. She is also a primary school TA and works as an ambassador for a local mental health charity in Leeds. And is a bogeret of Bnei Akiva and involved in the Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue community.
