We are raising funds for the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University Annual Jewish Society Ball, an event that brings together 300+ Jewish students from across campus for an evening of celebration, community, and solidarity. We are also proud to invite Leicester and Loughborough Jewish Societies to be part of the Ball.
For decades, the Ball has been the highlight of our social calendar. It brings together hundreds of students for an evening of community and celebration. In recent years, the Ball has also been a powerful demonstration of Jewish togetherness and solidarity, offering students a meaningful space to unite and proudly celebrate their identity.
For many students, this Ball is more than just a night out. Yes, it is crazy fun night where we dance our hearts out to the best Bar and Bat mitzvah songs, but, in a time when unity and support feel especially important, it is also a space where we can celebrate our Judaism, wear our Star, of David necklaces with pride and strengthen our bonds with one and other.
This year's Ball will include canapés, a sit-down meal, a DJ, an open bar, and a full security team, all designed to create an unforgettable night that honours our traditions and brings our community closer together.
As a student-run event, we rely heavily on the generosity of supporters who believe in the importance of Jewish community on campus. Any donation, large or small, makes a real difference in helping us create a safe and memorable evening for everyone who attends.
If you would like your donation to support something specific, or if you would like to be featured in our event brochure or acknowledged in another way, please feel free to contact us directly at [email protected]. We're happy to work with you to ensure your contribution is recognised in the way you'd prefer.
Thank you again for your support, generosity, and kindness. Your help truly strengthens our community.
