Approx Jewish Students on campus - 700+
Oxford JSoc is the social, cultural, religious, and pastoral home of Jewish students in Oxford. We run weekly kosher Friday Night Dinners, which often attract up to 120 Jewish students as well as very popular three-course kosher dinners every weekday during term-time. The JSoc is a home away from home with a vibrant social calendar featuring Challah bakes, pub and club nights, craft events, and the lively Jewbilation, our end of term party. For sports enthusiasts, we even have a football team called the Radcam Rabbis with weekly fixtures.
Oxford JSoc works very closely with our chaplains, Moshe and Tanya Bloom, who assist with event organisation and provide general support for all Jewish students in Oxford.
Where to find us?
Most of our events happen in the Oxford Jewish Centre, Oxford’s main synagogue which is less than a ten-minute walk from Oxford’s city centre.
