Since October 7th, life on campus has changed and UJS must change with it. I've been on campus experiencing and fighting the same difficulties as you - as JSoc President and Campaigns Officer. UJS and my JSoc have been vital supports to me at university, especially as someone who keeps Shabbat. I'm proud to have led my JSoc and advocated for our campus community and would be honoured to lead UJS nationally too.

I know you need UJS to advocate effectively for you: to governments, universities, other students, and online. I know JSocs need support and resources to keep hosting brilliant events. And I know UJS is crucial in strengthening our community so we can thrive together on campus.

I'm Naomi Bernstein, I've got your back.

Louis Danker

Hi, I'm Louis, former Edinburgh JSoc President, current UJS National Council Chair, and aspiring UJS President! I cultivated Jewish life in Edinburgh, growing the JSoc of the Year and building an inclusive 250-strong community that continues to thrive.

I've spent years at university advocating for Jewish students, from speaking to politicians at the Scottish and Australian parliaments, to helping JSoc Presidents around the country fight back against antisemitism since October 7th. In Edinburgh, I amplified Jewish student voices, and successfully campaigned for the university to disengage from extreme groups. At this crucial moment for our community, I have the leadership experience and resolve to fight for every single one of us, in JSocs large and small.

Daniel Grossman

Hi, I’m Daniel, and I’m running to be your UJS President. I’ve been VP of Bristol JSoc, where I fought antisemitism and enriched Jewish life. I represent you on the Board of Deputies, and was elected to its International Division, where I co-chair its Two State Solution Working Group. From leading on Noam, to providing security to JSoc with CST, I consistently get stuck in and make a difference. I grew up Reform, went to Orthodox schools, and go to a Masorti shul; so I understand the true diversity of our community. A vote for me is a vote for a Bolder, Braver UJS. While UJS already does a great job of supporting Jewish life on campus, I want to focus on three areas that we can improve upon: combatting antisemitism at its roots, fostering comprehensive Israel engagement, and real, tailored support for every JSoc.
