Hello! I’m Edgar, a final-year Philosophy and Portuguese student at the University of Bristol. I served as President of Bristol JSoc from 2024 to 2025, and have since taken my work in Jewish advocacy onto the international stage as a Board Member of the World Union of Jewish Students.
I’m committed to defending Jewish life on campus, tackling antisemitism and ensuring that students’ voices are heard at the highest levels of UJS. I care deeply about inspiring the future leaders of our community and helping UJS continue to grow as a strong, sustainable union.
I’m excited to bring this experience to the 2026/27 National Council as a Student Trustee, representing Jewish students across the UK and Ireland and helping shape the future of our union.
