March of the Living UK is a 5 day educational journey in Poland where you will experience the unforgettable March of the Living International event that brings people from all over the world on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest WWII concentration camp complex.
On 16th- 20th April 2023 thousands of people from around the world will march the three kilometres from Auschwitz to Birkenau.
Prior to the March, you will travel as part of a group, visiting the concentration camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Majdanek, visiting Krakow, as well as historic Jewish sites in Poland. You will retrace the steps of the Death March, the actual route that countless members of our people were forced to take on their way to the gas chambers.
This time, however, it will be a March of the Living, with thousands of Jewish people, like yourself, marching shoulder to shoulder. You will participate in a memorial service at one of the gas chambers/crematoria, in Birkenau, which will conclude with the singing of Hatikvah, reaffirming 'Am Yisrael Chai'- 'The Jewish People Live.'

Prices: Student - £299
£200 non-refundable deposit to confirm booking plus a further £99 for the cost of the trip is required to fully process your application. This includes transport, accommodation, food and flights. The total balance is due on 31st January 2023 and no monies will be refunded for cancellations made after this date. Please note the remaining cost of the Trip (£1600) is awarded to you as a generous subsidy.
