With the UJS Presidential Elections approaching, this years Returning Officer has a message for potential candidates including key dates!
Hi, I’m Russell Langer and I am the Returning Officer for this year’s UJS Presidential Election. I was the UJS Campaigns Director back in 2015-16 and continue to have the privilege of supporting the work of UJS in my current role at the Jewish Leadership Council.
The timeline for this year’s election will be:
Monday 5th November: Nominations open
Monday 19th November: Nominations close
Monday 26th November: Campaigning and voting opens
Friday 7th December: Campaigning and voting closes
Sun 9th December: Result announced
Details on submitting a nomination will be published nearer the time. In the meantime, email me on [email protected] if you have any questions. The election will be held in accordance with the UJS constitution and bye-laws which can be read here.
