Rebecca Myers is the Israel Engagement and Mental Health Awareness Sabbatical Officer for 2024/25. Rebecca has just finished her fourth year of Medical School at the University of Bristol and will be returning for her final year of studies there in September 2025. She was very involved in Jewish life on campus, from being secretary for her JSoc in first year to finishing her time there as Hillel house warden, Rebecca has loved her past 4 years in Bristol working closely with other students and the local community to ensure Jewish life on campus continues to thrive.
Rebecca is originally from Manchester and is looking forward to exploring all London has to offer. She would love any recommendations for things to do in her new home here.
In her role as Israel engagement Sabbatical Officer, Rebecca hopes to encourage students to develop an informed and lasting relationship with Israel. As Mental health awareness officer she hopes to support students and JSocs in planning events to promote student mental health and wellbeing.
