Our People

Eve Cohen

Eve C (she/her) is the Inclusion and Mental Health Sabbatical Officer. She has just graduated from the University of Bristol with a BsC in Sociology (which she really enjoyed) and where she wrote her dissertation on Jewish feminism and sexual empowerment.

Throughout her time at Bristol, Eve enjoyed many different societies and served as Equality and Welfare Officer in both her Jsoc committee and on That’s What She Said Magazine, which is an intersectional feminist student magazine. Passionate about feminism, trans rights, disability awareness, and anti-racist allyship, Eve enjoys working collaboratively with others to advocate and ensure that all voices are heard, both in Jewish and non Jewish spaces and communities. Eve also aims to promote meaningful mental health awareness by breaking stigmas and checking in with people. She’s also incredibly proud to be supporting Jewish students not only to combat antisemitism but also to celebrate thriving Jewish life on campus in all its vibrancy, diversity and fun.

In her spare time, Eve spends a lot of her time running, and thrifting because she loves fashion. If she’s not in the office, Eve can be found drinking matcha with friends. She loves books; Louis Theroux, and Fiona Apple.

Eve is really looking forward to getting to know you all and travelling to JSocs all around the UK and Ireland. She loves meeting new people and visiting new places and is so excited for the next year!

Eve is the Sabbatical Officer for the following campuses and their JSocs (Jewish societies):
